Cranmore Mountain
With 54 trails, 1200 vertical feet, and 200+ acres of terrain, Cranmore Mountain is located in the heart of North Conway and has been entertaining families for over 75 years with fun and festive winter activities. New for this winter is a BR 350 snow groomer and improvements to the snowmaking system to include 45 new high-efficiency tower snowguns. Other recent improvements include replacing the historic East Double Chair with a triple chairlift. For those looking to try something different, the Soaring Eagle Zipline, Mountain Coaster, and Giant Swing operate all winter. Guests can enjoy Cranapalooza, with night skiing, tubing, live music, and a variety of fun family activities every Saturday night and most holiday periods.  Visit

Attitash Mountain Resort is more than just a ski area; it is the essence of skiing, snowboarding, and winter lifestyle. With 11 lifts; to include two detachable quads, Attitash Mountain Resort offers 67 trails across two big, inner connected mountains that combine traditional New England runs and challenging terrain with modern, wide-open cruisers suited for all abilities. Wildcat Mountain
Wildcat Mountain Ski Area is located on Wildcat Mountain near Jackson, New Hampshire with a vertical drop of 2,112 feet – the second largest in New Hampshire and the ninth-largest in New England.

Wildcat is one of the best-known alpine skiing resorts in New England, with 50 trails on 225 acres, including the nearly 3-mile Polecat Trail — the longest ski trail in New Hampshire. Wildcat Mountain has 1 Summit Quad Chairlift, and 3 Triple Chairlifts. Visit

Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring and Cross Country Skiing
Access a diverse selection of terrain spanning over 60 kilometers of trails traveling through riverside hayfields and spruce and hemlock forests. Trails connect the towns of Intervale, Kearsarge, and North Conway offering views of the Saco River and Mount Washington. Services include cross country ski & snowshoe rentals, lessons, and a ski shop. Be sure to check out the 25th Annual Chocolate Festival with chocolate treats available along the trails.

Mount Washington Auto Road: Snow Coach
Winter brings a whole new set of sights and sounds to the Mount Washington Auto Road: the crisp mountain air, the crystal blue skies, the soft crunch of new snow. And, the best way to see them is the one-of-a-kind SnowCoach. A specially constructed all-wheel drive and unique 4-track system allow the 9-passenger SnowCoach to deliver you to the world above treeline for a truly unforgettable experience. For the adventurer in you, the SnowCoach gives you the option to cross country ski, telemark ski or snowshoe down the Auto Road.

Snow Coach tours are approximately 1¼ hours long and depart daily from December through March from Great Glen Trails’ base lodge at the base of Mt. Washington on a first-come, first-served basis. Operating hours are approximately 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (shorter hours 8:30-2:30 early in the season), depending on weather and snow conditions. Visit

Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is New Hampshire’s most family-friendly winter fun headquarters. More than 45 kilometers of trails offers classic and skate X-C skiing, as well as snow tubing and snowshoeing in the heart of winter’s most magnificent setting. Visit

Mount Washington Observatory’s Weather Discovery Center
The Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center is an interactive science museum that brings the wonder of the atmosphere right to your fingertips! Explore the science of climate and weather through fun, interactive exhibits like our air cannon, flow tank, and wind room. Conway Scenic Railroad
Enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience as you journey on historic rail routes in vintage passenger cars from our 1874 train station in North Conway Village to either Conway or Bartlett and back again during the winter months with departures at 11:30 and 1:30 Saturday & Sunday. Cog Railroad
The beauty of the mountains and the thrill of ascending the Northeast’s highest peak is just as enchanting today as they were in 1869 when Sylvester Marsh opened the world’s first mountain-climbing railroad on New Hampshire’s Mount Washington.

Nearly 150 years later, the Mount Washington Cog Railway continues to provide a sense of adventure and history as it carries passengers up a 3-mile-long trestle and the steepest railroad tracks in North America to the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. There, visitors can take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean.

Established in 1895, North Conway Country Club has provided the best golf experience in Mt Washington Valley for over 100 years. One round on the course speaks for itself…the views of Mt Washington and the Presidential and Moat Ranges will leave you speechless.
